Enclave at Riverdale in Huntersville, NC is a new construction community by Eastwood Homes that combines a smaller neighborhood setting with a surprisingly broad selection of homes.
Located on the west side of Huntersville, Enclave at Riverdale offers approximately 50 homesites with ranch, two-story and three-story floor plans. Buyers can choose from homes around 2,000 square feet on the smaller end to large three-story designs exceeding 3,400 square feet.
That variety is one of the things that makes Enclave at Riverdale different from many new construction communities in the Charlotte and Lake Norman area. You do not necessarily have to choose between a smaller neighborhood and a wide selection of floor plans.
In the video below, I’ll introduce you to the community and take you inside Eastwood Homes’ Davidson model, the largest floor plan offered here.
Pricing, available homes, floor plans and builder incentives can change. Contact me for current availability before visiting.
The first thing that stands out about Enclave at Riverdale is its size.
This is not a massive master-planned development with hundreds of homes. Eastwood describes Riverdale as a wooded community, and approximately 50 homes are planned.
But a smaller community does not mean buyers have only one or two basic floor plans to choose from.
Eastwood currently offers seven floor plans, including ranch, two-story and three-story designs. That allows Riverdale to appeal to buyers looking for very different types of homes.
You might want a primary bedroom on the main level and a home around 2,000 square feet. Another buyer may need multiple bedrooms, an office, a loft and considerably more living space.
Both can potentially find an option here.
One floor plan worth knowing about is the Amelia.
The Amelia offers a first-floor primary bedroom plus an additional bedroom on the main level. Upstairs, there is another bedroom, full bathroom and loft.
A current Amelia being built at Riverdale is approximately 2,095 square feet with three bedrooms and three full bathrooms.
This can be an appealing layout for buyers who want everyday living primarily on the first floor while retaining private upstairs space for guests, a home office or other uses.
And importantly, you can get that type of primary-down layout here without choosing an age-restricted community.
Buyers needing more space have several larger options.
Depending on the floor plan and selections, homes can offer combinations of home offices, lofts, guest bedrooms, additional bathrooms and even third-floor living space.
That range makes Enclave at Riverdale worth considering for both buyers trying to simplify their living arrangement and buyers who are moving up and need considerably more room.
The model home at Enclave at Riverdale is The Davidson, which represents the larger end of the community’s floor-plan lineup.
The Davidson model offers more than 3,400 square feet, five bedrooms, four full bathrooms and three levels of living space.
One of its useful features is a first-floor guest suite, while the upper levels provide considerably more bedroom and flexible living space.
The Davidson is an impressive model home, but it is important not to assume that every home in Riverdale is this large. One of the reasons I wanted to feature this community is the contrast between a home like the Davidson and smaller primary-down choices such as the Amelia.

Enclave at Riverdale is located at 5905 New River Drive in Huntersville, NC, on the western side of Huntersville.
The location puts residents within a short drive of Birkdale Village for shopping and dining, while also providing convenient access to the broader Lake Norman area.
Eastwood also promotes the community’s accessibility to Uptown Charlotte, giving buyers an option for new construction in Huntersville without being disconnected from the larger Charlotte metro area.
For buyers comparing different parts of Huntersville, location should be part of the decision. I recommend looking not only at the house itself, but also at your typical drives to work, shopping, recreation and the parts of Lake Norman you use most often.
As of August 2026, Eastwood Homes is advertising new homes at Enclave at Riverdale from the mid-$500s.
Actual pricing can vary significantly depending on the floor plan, homesite, structural options, design selections and whether you are purchasing a home already under construction.
Builder incentives can also change frequently.
Rather than relying on an advertised starting price alone, I recommend comparing:
the actual home price, financing terms, closing-cost incentives, upgrades included in the home, HOA expenses and the total monthly payment.
That gives you a much more accurate comparison between one builder or community and another.
Enclave at Riverdale may be especially worth considering if you want new construction in Huntersville but prefer a smaller neighborhood rather than a very large subdivision.
It can also work well for buyers who want a primary bedroom on the main floor, but do not want an age-restricted community.
At the other end of the spectrum, larger floor plans such as the Davidson give buyers considerably more space for guests, offices, bedrooms and flexible living areas.
The common thread is choice. Riverdale offers several distinctly different ways to live within the same relatively small community.
Buying directly from a builder is different from purchasing a resale home.
The builder’s sales representative works for the builder. As a buyer’s agent, my job is to help you evaluate the community, compare builders and floor plans, understand incentives and contract terms, and look at the purchase in the context of the broader Huntersville and Lake Norman real estate market.
Builder policies regarding buyer-agent registration can vary, so if you would like representation, contact me before your first visit to the sales center.
I can also help you compare Enclave at Riverdale with other Huntersville NC new construction communities so you can determine which location, home and builder make the most sense for you.
